A Perfect Summer Wedding: Jaclyn and Dan
It was the perfect summer day. Sunny, warm, poofy white clouds. A great day for a romantic wedding.
Jaclyn and Dan met while attending Purdue University and they say it was love at first sight. In April of 2007 Dan surprised Jaclyn with a trip to San Fransisco. Once they were on the plane he told her that their REAL destination was Big Sur and a stay at the Post Ranch Inn ! Sooo romantic………..After dinner one night Dan told Jaclyn to close her eyes and when she opened them he was down on one knee proposing to her…….swoon.
They were married at Nativity of Our Lord in Saint Paul, where cousin Nicholas carried the same ring pillow that was used at Jaclyn’s parents wedding and has been passed through the family since 1972. After the ceremony they headed to a private beach in North Oaks for some fun and then on to the reception at North Oaks Country Club . The room was breathtaking with the most amazing flowers!
I had the good fortune to have Shelly Paulson, a dear friend, along to shoot with me. She is a local photographer who is uber talented and I was lucky that she had a free day.
