I have been enchanted with Eagles for most of my life.  They are magnificent creatures and I was lucky enough to find a pair nearby ( I live in Scandia, MN) who are busy building a family!  This first image shows (look for the white spot in the nest) an eagle sitting in a gigantic nest.  After watching their behavior I have concluded that there are eggs in the nest as it is rarely left unattended. While I was “eagle watching”,  the mate to this eagle made an appearance……..

He began to cry out…………

and cry out………..

one last shout…………..

and off he goes………….

I was almost screaming with joy at this point………….

So amazingly beautiful………..

I could hear the wings flapping……

And away he flies.  I was almost crying with joy at this point.
