I shoot for Stillwater Living Magazine which I love.  I have met some of the most interesting local people from all walks of life.  This month I had the best time shooting images of beautiful figure skaters!

Adam and Kristen  5 . 12 . 07

Adam and Kristen were married and had their reception at the romantic Outing Lodge in Stillwater, Mn.   They met on a trip to France when they were in high school and had some interest in each other and decades later Adam found her in Minneapolis.  It’s just a great love story.  Kristen is a talented graphic artist as well as vocalist.  She designed all of her invitations and programs and sang a touching song to Adam with her band Suede Baby.

They had a hard time choosing their favorites. “That is priceless because of the moment my Mom and I had- so vividly captured.”~ Kristen

“Adam and I are in the stairwell.  I love the colors, the textures of the wall, the wrought iron and the leaded glass against the formality of my dress, Adams suit & the pop of pink.  Adam looks so cute in this one.”  ~Kristen

“Madi makes this photo irresistible-but I love the colors and how I’m looking at her and she’s looking at the camera.”  ~Kristen

Adam and Kristen had a ahard time agreeing on ONE image.  This is Adam’s choice. 

“It shows me adoring my new bride, Kristen; it shows Kristen’s outward expression of love and acceptance of those around her; it shows Darren smiling a true genuine smile (he’s not always an outwardly expressive ’smiler’, so that was nice to have captured).  Essentially, this shot has captured the two most important contemporaries in my life for me-at their best!” ~Adam
